Review RazorRock XXX

Review
Company: RazoRock
Product: XXX
Founder: Joseph Abbatangelo

Wet Shavers have been talking about this soap for years. The history is legendary. Some people like the original others like the new tallow based creation. Since I’ve never had the opportunity to use the first version I can only give you my impressions of the one that’s available now.

RazoRock has a standard black plastic tub with a screw on lid for the majority of its soaps. It also has a smaller second lid made of clear plastic, which sits, right on top of the opening which by the way is more than ample to lather from. The redesigned label and logo is truly eye catching.  I do know that a good label design sells a product. Companies constantly redesign the products label to make you purchase more. You can see it even now with Caties Bubbles and SoapMan all of them are all doing it. Products always need a boost and this is one way of doing it.

What does the term Classic Barbershop scent really mean? Is it Pinaud ClubMan maybe it’s Penhaligon's Douro. What ever it is Wet Shavers have been discussing this for some time now. One thing that comes up in almost every description is the word “Clean”. It’s a clean scent and that’s what I would use to describe Triple X a clean scent. The scent strength on scale from one to ten is about a 6. The scent lasts for the entire shave and then slowly disappear in a few hours.  The notes on this are hard for me some say citrus but I'm not sure about that one. I think it's more of a powdery scent.

The lathering was easy and the slickness was constant during the entire shave a sold performer.

Another great soap from RazoRock it would make a find addition in anyone den.
