First, I’d like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and try not to break my weekend shaving tradition so I’m back with a Holiday Shave of Cool Cologne a shaving cream formulated by the Boots skincare specialist of Nottingham England.

The packaging reminds me of what James Bond would reach for if he needed shaving cream it has that type of look to it that you might find in Bond’s shaving den.

I sometimes forget to revisit things I’ve enjoyed reviewing in the past. I came across one that falls into this category called Dr. Jon’s Flowers In The Dark I believe this was released around Halloween in 2019. The art on the label is pretty impressive and the description of the scent is a little disturbing when I first read it. It’s a play on lavender but it read something like this and I quote “Lavender upfront but then fades and all that is left is a coffin wood and ozone, a disturbingly pleasant combination”

As we inch closer to 2021 which could not come any quicker if you ask me I’m getting more calls to do reviews from product manufacturers which tells me companies are more confident that we're moving in the right direction. I also just got word that Fine will be releasing the new line called 21 Century Shaving Soap. This will be interesting comparing it to the original classic formula.

Today I’m using something from Wickham Shaving Co. Called 1912 Cashmere. This scent is just fantastic Top Notes: Bergamot, Basil Leaf, Heart Notes: White Patchouli, Base Notes: Oak Moss. My tub has been dormant for some time and needed blooming to wake it up and that seems to do the trick because it lathered up so well like it was brand new.

Holiday Release 2020 - Mr Warlock

Our last holiday offering this year is Mr. Warlock which is based on the cartoon Santa Clause is coming to town. This scent is a wonderful blend of Peppermint, Eucalyptus, and camphor that has to be experienced. Not as strong as our Cold Fusion but it does pack a punch and adding the aftershave will complete the ending to a terrific shave.

We always try to make the holidays release something special. This year we brought back Christmas Time and came out with Silent Night which was a big hit but now the holiday field is getting crowded. So we have decided to remove Mr. Warlock from our lineup next year so we can give way to a whole new set of holiday releases which I hope will be a hit with you as well.

This week along with showing our Christmas Time shaving soap we have a new blade we’re going to review from wizashave.com called IRIDIUM Super extra Stainless Blade. Not sure what they mean by extra stainless how does something stainless become extra stainless is beyond my knowledge. My question is could these be the same blades as Polsilver Double Edge Razor Blades Super Iridium my guess is yes but I'm going to ask WizaShave for that answer.

Company: Wet The Face Product: Holiday Releases 2020 It’s the holiday season once again even though it may not feel like it here in N.Y. with temperatures hovering around 70 - 65 degrees it's hard to feel like it's November when you're wearing a short-sleeve shirt. Be that as it may, we are moving forward with our holiday releases. We feel this is the right time to introduce some new products and bring back some old favorites. Also, the USPS has been under a lot of stress lately so the earlier you get your orders in the better chances you’ll get them on time for the holidays.
