Let's Shave With Proraso

Today I use shaving soap which I always pronounce wrong, so I won't say it, but it's called Proarso Red. I also used the plastic tub it comes in to load the brush and then do a face lather. This method never fails, and what a lather it makes. Some people have a problem with the scent, but I find it very pleasant. It goes on thick and rich, providing complete coverage, and the slickness and glide are always ready to help the shave along. The post-shave feels fantastic and is ready for an aftershave.

This week I only had time for one movie, which is Talk to Me (2023) is a supernatural horror film from A24, directed by Danny and Michael Philippou. The story follows a group of teenagers who discover they can communicate with spirits using a mysterious embalmed hand. When they hold the hand and say, "Talk to me," they allow a spirit to possess them for a short time, providing an intense and thrilling experience. However, when one of them breaks the rules and stays connected for too long, a terrifying chain of events is set into motion, leading to horrifying consequences.

The film centers on Mia, a grieving teenager struggling with the loss of her mother. Desperate for connection, she becomes obsessed with the hand and the eerie experiences it provides. As supernatural forces tighten their grip on Mia and her friends, they realize the spirits are more dangerous than they initially thought, and the line between the living and the dead begins to blur in terrifying ways.

The movie is known for its unsettling atmosphere, disturbing imagery, and emotional depth, making it one of A24’s standout horror films.
