The last time I used Barbus shaving soap was 6 years ago. A subscriber sent me a box full of products and wanted me to do a review of all of them. I reviewed all the products that pertained to wet shaving. But he was still not satisfied; he wanted me to just keep using them, and I tried to explain to him that it just doesn't work that way. Clearly, we had a language barrier since he was from Slovakia and had come to the US and landed in N.J. Barbus Active is the one I'm using today, and when you watch the video, I didn't bowl lather; I just loaded the brush from the plastic tub, and in less than a minute, the brush was loaded, and I was ready to face lather. Man, it produced some thick creamy lather that got read into the bread, allowing me to shave without fear of irritation. The post-shave feel was a good one as well. I would still recommend Barbus, and after six years, the same soap did not disappoint.
