A few months ago, I was asked by one of my YouTube subscribers to give Vicco Turmeric Shaving Cream a try. He explained that he uses it all the time and wanted to know what I thought about it. So, after searching the internet I found the product and ordered one with sandalwood scent. It took 3 weeks to get to me and now its finally here. The purchase price was around $3.00 for what I think is smaller than the average amount. On the front of the box, it reads buy two get one free if this was pointed out to me at the time of purchase I definitely would have because this stuff is fantastic!
The box is way bigger than the product inside giving the appearance that you’re getting a larger tube than it actually is. That was strike one in my book it’s not a good practice to deceive but once you open the twist on cap all is forgiven as you take in one of the most outstanding sandalwood scents I’ve ever experienced. This is not a fragrance oil but essential oils which might be the reason for the small tube knowing the price of them. The other ingredient is turmeric so I found out how amazing this spice is. Turmeric is a spice that comes from the turmeric plant. Turmeric is used for arthritis, heartburn (dyspepsia), joint pain, stomach pain, Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, bypass surgery, hemorrhage, diarrhea, intestinal gas, stomach bloating, loss of appetite, jaundice, liver problems. The list goes on forever but one interesting thing is in food and manufacturing, the essential oil of turmeric is used in perfumes, and its resin is used as a flavor and color component in foods.
Now getting back to the shaving cream I bowl lather but wanted to try doing a face lather as well but after trying both methods the bowl lather produced a thicker lather more to my liking and allowed better coverage than a face lather. The slickness and glide were excellent too it allowed me to go over trouble spots without irritation. I had a very close shave along with a fantastic post shave feel. I topped it off with the Art of Shaving’s Sandalwood balm.
So, I had an amazing experience trying Vicco and if you are patient enough and have $3.00 I would highly recommend this especially if you’re looking for something different to try.
