We are getting down to the last few shaving creams and our journey takes us to Bathhouse Soapery. Here we find many offerings for shaving cream and the one we are revisiting today is called Milk. It's been a long minute since I've used this one and I'm glad to bring it back in the limelight for you. So let me repost my review from August 3rd 2019
We have some great members in our community and when they find something new they like to spread the word to everyone. This happened two weeks ago when a package arrived from a community member Benjamin asking me to take a closer look and possibly do a review of Milk a shaving cream from Bathhouse Soapery & Caldarium. I’m always flattered that people think of me when it comes to something they want to be reviewed I always tell them I may not like the product so please be aware it may not go the way they had planned but Bathhouse soapers have nothing to worry about.
The scent is called Milk and let me tell you it’s a good one. Notes of raspberry, cotton candy, and caramelized sugar make this very pleasant indeed.
The texture is on the shaving cream side. Due to the hot weather, it was loose so I placed the shaving cream inside the refrigerator for about 30 min before use. This brought it right back to normal again and I was able to open the lid without the fear of it spilling out by accident. I was able to place it into my shaving bowl without any issues making this easy to use for those who like using a shaving bowl.
Lathering was no issue it made an amazing amount in just a min and was able to have great coverage getting into the beard with a rich creamy yogurt-like consistency. For the shave, I used a single edge feather pro on my Occams Razor nano. The slickness and glide allowed me to go over spots without irritation and the post-shave feel was fantastic.
So another great shaving soap to try they have 8 scents altogether so you're bound to find something that you’ll like.
