Review: Knockout Shave

Review
Company: Knockout Shave
Founder: Ralph Gabb
Product: Silver Shaving Soap
DiNG DiNG DiNG!!!

I needed to shave this morning so I reached for my new soap from Knockout Shave. The scent is called Silver. This company comes out of Germantown, Tennessee. I remember emailing Ralph Gabb the owner and asking him about samples but unfortunately they didn’t have them to sell. So after a week I went back to the website and made a purchase.

The soap comes in a 4oz clear lightweight plastic tub with a screw on lid and a nice waterproof label on top. The tub has a generous opening to allow you to use your brush when making a lather.

As I started to lather more time and water was needed with this soap then others but it did lather well not amazingly but well. As I was working it into my beard I did notice the slickness but started to loose the sent for some reason. I thought this was kind of odd but kept going. I finished the shave, splashed water on my face then toweled dry and asked my wife if she could pick up any scent on me. She leaned in and then with a big smile said what’s that you have on that’s smells great!!  Suddenly I could hear the roaring crowed like in Madison Square Garden and bells signaling the end of a round.
 We have a Winner!!

The notes on Silver: Bergamot, apple, black currant, pineapple, jasmine, rose, birch, patchouli, amber, musk, vanilla, and oak moss are used to create an absolutely divine smell sure to impress. I couldn’t smell all of them listed but I do agree that the scent will impress. According to my wife it smells sexy and she’s never wrong.

Soap Ingredients: potassium tallowate, sodium tallowate, potassium stearate, sodium stearate, potassium cocoate, sodium cocoate, potassium castorate, sodium castorate, sodium lactate, glycerine, and fragrance.
