There’s no denying how amazing Arco products are. I have tried 3 so far and all of them have been wonderful even the red Arco stick which took me some time to come around to the scent. I love the shaving creams outstanding scents and performance which are so superior to big brand names we have in the States. I was asked to try another one from one of my subscribers called Arko Maximum Comfort. He wanted to know did the cream really protect your skin from irritation or was it just talk. Here’s what I found out.

The packaging is the same for all the creams, a plastic toothpaste like tube with a flip to open and close cap to easily squeeze out your desired amounts with no problem.

To lather, one could use a brush and bowl or simply just place a small amount on your fingertips and massage into a wet face. The bowl lather works best for me and it produced an amazing amount in no time. The brush for me is the best way to apply lather and it went on thick and creamy with great coverage and it got right into my beard.

For the shave, I used my new Rockwell Model T on setting 2-3 so a mild setting at best with a Personna Lab Blue blade installed. The combination of the two products was close to perfect as you can get to when a shaving cream meets a razor. I was getting the slickness and glide that I needed and the razor was running over my face effortlessly with no irritation what so ever. I was able to go over trouble spots without reapplying any cream. At this point, you think wow this stuff really works but when you think about it I’ve gotten this kind of protections before with the other Arko products I’ve used in the past so what gives? whats so big about the Maximum Comfort?

To me, all of the Arko products are Maximum Comfort this one may have just a little bit more than the others which is a good thing but it’s just marketing. I felt no more protection than the others I’ve used so I’m sure they would disagree but for me, it’s all good but the same across the board. So don’t be afraid to use the others because they will all work just as good for sensitive skin as this one does.
