Captain’s Choice describes their Eucalyptus as a crisp and refreshing take on this classic scent, and I think that describes it pretty well. There’s plenty of eucalyptus here, along with a touch of spearmint that gives it a fresh, invigorating character without turning the shave into an overpowering menthol experience.
What really impressed me the last time I used this soap was how well it performed even after sitting unused for quite some time. A little water and a good brush brought it right back to life, producing plenty of rich lather with the slickness and glide I want from a shaving soap.
And then there’s that eucalyptus scent. I’ve said before that it reminds me a little of Vicks VapoRub — **but I mean that in a good way!** It has that unmistakable clean, cooling, open-up-your-senses kind of aroma that makes for a very refreshing shave.
So tonight we’ll put **Captain’s Choice Eucalyptus** through another shave and see how it performs.
Thanks for watching, and as always, I hope you enjoy the shave!
**Have a great shave, everyone!**
