Pinon - Wet The Face Holiday Release

Company: Wet The Face
Product: Pinon

Well, November is here and the Holidays are starting up again and so are my Holiday Releases for 2019. We are bringing back a few of the ones from last year including a request from our facebook group. The selections are as follows. Mr. Warlock, It’s A Wonderful Shave, Zuzu Petals, Pinon, and Valyrian Steel

This is the most we ever offered during the holidays. There are three reasons why we have five shaving soap this year. One would be I held back Valyrian Steel as a holiday release and the second Mr. Warlock was the request from our Facebook group to bring it back. The third would be Zu Zu Petals being that this is around all year I still wanted to include it. How could we ever forget Zu Zu Petals?

The one I’m going to be talking about today is Pinon. This one's kind of different than some of the others I’ve released. I’m always asked about the scent strength from my customers. I think it's safe to say the majority of our customers like strongly scented soaps myself included but I do hear the people that find a lightly scented soap is also desirable. So I set out to make a soap which if used on its own would allow the user a nice lightly scented Pine shaving experience. Subsequently, if that person wanted to bring it up a notch they could apply the accompanying Pinon aftershave which would then elevate the scent way up to beyond it normal levels.

In my tests with this soap, I found myself draw to its Pine fresh scent and would apply it twice after the shave. I just love its simplicity so I’m going to keep this one year-round. The lather during my testes was amazing and the slickness and glide were top notch.

For those of you who may be new to Wet The Face products, we went through a formula change last year which all of our shaving soaps are currently using. We even had Mantic59 Mark The Sharpologist test our Apples and Oaks Fall release this year and this is what he had to say:

“WTF Apples Oaks uses their new “V 2.0 formula” soap base and the change is a noticeable improvement to me. The lather builds more quickly and liberally, with a consistency that’s thicker and creamier, than the previous formula. I find lubrication to be very good and cushion/protection to be excellent. The post-shave feel is good, too WTF had been off my radar for a while but Apples Oaks has reclaimed my attention and I’m going to be giving WTF’s new soap base serious consideration as I update Sharpologist’s “Best Shave Soap” article in the near future.

So I encourage you to watch the video and see for yourself just what the sharpologiest was talking about.
