Green is the color I’m using and for people who don’t know the green has menthol which on these hot humid days is just perfect.

something that was giving to me by my Swedish friend Maximus. He sent this to me in 2016 after he tweeted about it and then he offered one to me asking for a review which I did. This is somewhat of a staple with the dutch you can buy it in locals stores for about 3 to 5 dollars. They have been in business for over 450 years so they might know a few things about making soaps.

Captain’s Choice Nor’Easter has to be one of my favorites, but I never used the shaving cream just the shaving soap. Today we bring out the shaving cream and follow it up with something new for me called Italia aftershave. One would think they don’t exactly go together and you would be right but I still wanted to use it.

I like the packaging of the cream it comes in a smaller tub but you can use much less and get better results from the shaving cream formula. You have an opening to dip your brush in to do a face lather or you could take a dime-size amount in your hands and rub it into your beard with your fingertips.

Today we have a new release that we've been working on for some time now. Not only creating the scent but the label design as well. I released the label way ahead of the soap creation to our FB group to get feedback and they did not disappoint. I had great suggestions from the group which improved the design. I think having more eyes on the artwork did improve the outcome. So I might be doing more of this kind of thing in the future.

A few months ago I did a review on the Flexi adjustable razor V2.0 and when that package arrived inside was a few unexpected surprises one of them being two shaving soaps from Pearl Man. Coffeeop which to me smells like chocolate and the other Shaver’s Spirit The Fresh beginning which is the focus of this review it has an amazing fresh clean scent.

This shaving soap comes in a 100g or 3.5oz plastic tub with a screw-on lid. A cartoon-like picture of a man with a mustache and the words the Artisan Shaving Soap. So I have a question, what's the name of the soap? Shaver’s Spirit or The Fresh Beginning or is it both?
