Wow, is it really November in N.Y.? I have a short sleeve shirt on, and it's 75 degrees. Stores are displaying trees and ornaments the hallmark channel has nothing but Christmas movies on. I heard on the radio that since they have been taking readings (1890) 2020 was the warmest Nov on Record ever! and we are getting closer to passing that as well.
That leads me to today's video shaving with Salty Sea Air. I feel like we are still in summer so I know of no better shaving soap to use. Such an amazing scent one that would bring anyone regardless of what season right back to summer days at the beach.
In today's YouTube video we take a look at podcasts. I have been listening to a few of them over the years and my first one is Marc Maron's WTF or What the Fuck! Marc welcomes comedians, actors, directors, writers, authors, musicians, and folks from all walks of life to his home for amazingly revealing conversations. Marc's probing, comprehensive interview style allows guests to express themselves in ways listeners have never heard all from his garage and he even had President Obama in his garage. I like his style I like his acting and standup so this was a no-brainer for me.
Next is another podcast that I heard about and just had to listen in its called Dead Eyes Actor/comedian Connor Ratliff (The Chris Gethard Show, UCB, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) embarks upon a quest to solve a very stupid mystery that has haunted him for two decades: why Tom Hanks fired him from a small role in the 2001 HBO mini-series, Band Of Brothers. His obsession with this is evident in each episode but he does a masterful and wonderful job of presenting this in a way that is very entertaining. He shows how certain occurrences in his life including career acquaintances are somehow connected to this event of being fired because according to Mr. Hanks he has "Dead Eyes"
Well that's all I have for this week
Please be kind to one another
