Today we use Lodge 49 in our shaving & Talking #21. If you don't know this soap it was born out of the love for a TV series of the same name. I thought it would make a perfect soap and an homage to the canceled series. Truly one of the most interesting series around, alas we will never know what happens in the end.
On the other hand, the shave was fantastic as you can see by the video we produced an amount of lather that we could shave five men, with two passes each. The slickness and glide are above average and the post-shave feel was great.
A few weeks ago I signed up for Apple TV and man I have been watching some good shows.
Today I'm proud to Introduce a new release from Wet The Face called HEIWA, which brings peace and tranquility to your daily shaving routine. We sure are in some crazy times now. and right now is a good time to enjoy your shave without the pressures of the world even if it's just for a little while and experience some peace and harmony.
The label features a serene scene of a tranquil temple surrounded by woods and water, embodying the essence of peace in Japanese culture.
In Today's video, I go back to when I first started collecting shaving soap and found a tin of Enigma in my den. I have had this for some time now and it still performs just as it did when I purchased it 5 or 6 years ago. The scent has kept its strength along with every note and what a scent it is.
The one I have came in a tin that's when tins were all the rage back then now of course most artisans use plastic tubs which I think turned out for the better in the long run. However, plastic is a sin, so until they come up with something else I'll have to stick with using plastic tubs.
Today I'm using a puck that will be part of a contest for YouTube subscribers. If you can name the puck I'm using in this video and be the first one to leave in the comments the company name and what the puck is called, you will win a shaving soap from Wet The Face.
