The scent notes include herbaceous tobacco leaf followed by a touch of sweet honey and finishing with a smoky, leathery cedarwood, fresh cherry wood, and vanilla bean. I have been told and I happen to agree that Cherry and vanilla are most predominant. Not to brag but I have been told my soaps are lather monsters and again I agree with that assessment. Not only that but the slickness and glide are also great indeed.
In this week's video, I touched base on watching Netflix and the two series I’ve been concentrating on are Squid Games and Maid. Now I’ve talked about these two before in the past but I had to stop watching Squid Games it’s really poorly acted and the characters are in a word boring. My advice is in order to get into Squid Games you need to get past episode 2. If you can do that the rest will be easy and more interesting. That being said if I had to rank this show on its content I would give it a 5 out of 10 even though this had raced to the number one spot on Netflix it was most likely due to its surprising violence which made that possible.
Now, when it comes to the series Maid that’s a whole new ball game what an amazing story it is. I found myself rooting for the main character throughout the 9 episodes which is a limited series. Sadly, the hit series is indeed based on a true story, inspired by the life of author Stephanie Land that she chronicled in an acclaimed 2019 memoir called Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother's Will to Survive. Alex the main character of the story is played by Margaret Qualley which is also the daughter of Andie MacDowell who plays Paula the mother. I won’t go into too much detail but it’s about a young woman with a 3 year old married to an alcoholic abusive husband and what she must do to survive.
So, that’s this week's videos in a nutshell next week is going to be the release of our holiday shaving soaps Silent Night & Christmas Time and one new release called Facebook 2K!
