Shaving & Talking #15 Featuring Brutis

Today's Shaving & Talking will be featuring Brutis our version of the classic aftershave Brut by Faberge. I think it's safe to say this was a big hit for Wet the Face the reviews on the website have been amazing customers really love it. It's basically spot-on as some have said and we couldn't be happier. We are currently thinking of turning this into a tallow version but that might be down the road some so stay tuned for that.

This week I've been crazy watching Netflix The umbrella Acadamy. I've been waiting for over two years to get to this point to see the continuation of the story. What an amazing cast it's like they never left picked up right where the last season left off without a hitch. Altho there is this one alteration to the story Ellen Page is now Elliot Page. Elliot recently came out as trans and asked if they could write it into the storyline and they did a wonderful job with the transition which didn't take anything away from the character. Die-hard fans of the Graphic Novel may have another opinion. This seems like it was the last season they kind of wrapped up everyone's storylines and frankly, I have no idea where you would go from here but I heard a rumor..... There will be a season four.

The other movie this week was on Prime Video from 2018 called I think we're alone now with Peter Hayden Dinklage of Game of Thrones Fame and Elle Fanning. The carefully crafted paradise of the last man on earth (Dinklage) is threatened by the arrival of a mysterious interloper (Fanning). What a great pairing of these two but as a spectator, you need to pay attention to the film and dialog because at times the dialogue is way too quiet so their conversation gets hard to hear. One thing I can tell you This is not a zombie movie by any means. I will quote Andy Grant here who summed it up so elegantly - This film is a wonderful elegy to the subtle routines and practices that build our senses of place and person. If it is a love story at all, it is one between friends who learn that they can share their inner chaos.

That's it for now
As Always be kind to one another
