Shaving with Zu Zu's Petals

One of our soaps that I'm using today started out as a holiday-only release but has turned into something that is available all year round I'm talking about Zu Zu's Petals. This month alone I've seen 4 or more people using it in SOTD Pics and Videos I could not be more thankful for. So I decided to join the pack and use it for this week's video as well.

I had two shaving soaps that were inspired by the movie it's a wonderful life Zu Zu's Petals and It's a Wonderful Shave both had a good run but the appeal of Zu Zu's Petals seemed to hit something with the wet shaving public. The rose we used for the scent is like no other I have ever come across since we created it. This is so good we use it in all shaving scents that require a rose note. If you're looking to try it we just made a new batch a week ago so we have plenty for the upcoming holidays. You can also find the original video right here if you want to see its original release - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CQl92nJhv4&t=1s

This week's movies and TV shows watched are the Sandman which is an amazing adventure altho if you have issues with characters showing gay affection then you might want to stay away. This is how the story was written but Hans Christian Andersen's 1841 folk tale Ole Lukøje did not have this. I do find that in today's storytelling some writers make it a point to add this to the stories they write simply because it's part of human nature.

Next, I watched Trainwreck Woodstock 99 greed was the downfall of this event which turned into a Shiit show and I'm not kidding when I say that. Please give this a look see. I remember the original 1969 Woodstock and I don't think it will ever be revisited simply because people are way different now than back then.

The last movie is Beautiful Boy. Get out the kleenex before you start it is a sad true story of the struggles of drug addiction and how it affects everyone in the family. You go on this journey that is at times hard to watch. I could not control my tears as I watch him shoot tar heroin in a public bathroom and noticed the needle marks running up and down his arm. I have to say the actor Timothée Hal Chalamet who played Nic Sheff was so convincing in this role. Not an easy thing to do but I do recommend giving this a look-see. If you have someone in your family or know of a friend who is going through this it might be too much for you to watch.

Well, that's it for this week
As always be kind to one another
