Shaving Before The Engagement Party

Today I have a party to attend the engagement of Danielle and Frank. I've seen Danielle grow to be this stunning, smart, and amazing woman. She met Frank in college in 2017 and now they want to be together in marriage. So in order for me to go to this party this afternoon I needed a shave and I turned to Thomas Shelby's Signature Scent shaving soap and I also used the aftershave as well.

All the checkmarks on a good shaving soap are Slickness, Glide, Scent, Lather, and post-shave feel this soap archives them all. The scent has been said to be an amazing connection to the character of Thomas Shelby. So far we have 3 in the collection Thomas, Arthur, and Alfie soon we will have 4 but I'm not sure if it will appear this year.

Shaving With Stranger Shaves

Today because we are in the month of October I'm using Stranger Shave. I always connected this soap with the show since the new season is always released in or around Halloween. I enjoy the intense almond scent this brings to the den. Everyone in the house will know what you're using the minute you open the lid.

I'm not going to toot my own horn here but it's been said this is a lather monster and I have to agree it can get crazy on the brush as well as in the bowl. The slickness and glide are tops allowing for an irritation-free shave. The post-shave feel is fantastic and once you apply that aftershave you're good for the rest of the day.

Shaving With The Arko Stick

I'll be giving the Arko stick another try today. This time I'm taking the advice of my subscribers and doing it the right way. The instructions I was given from most people were to Wet the face, apply the stick all over the face, and use the brush to make a face lather. The other times I used Arko I bowl lathered even though it came out just fine that was not the intended way to use this product.

I have to say I enjoyed it more using it the proper way. I have to remember not to bowl lather for the next time. The lather was amazing and I had plenty on the brush as well. The slickness and glide were more than I expected and allowed me to go over trouble spots without fear of irritation.

Shaving With The Perfect Cup

Today I'll get my coffee fixed the only way I can by shaving with The Perfect Cup. Since my acid reflux years ago I've been drinking tea and I tell you I always crave coffee. The thing I miss the most is the downtime in the morning just before work starts for the day. You just can't beat a roll and butter with a cup of coffee. Of course, the nighttime coffee was always welcome with my wife it was a time I'll always remember.

If you never heard of this before it came out a few years ago when I happened to see many coffee-shaving soap offerings from many artisans. I didn't have one and thought I just didn't want to be a me-too product how could I make it special. I thought let me see if I can make with real coffee and then I'll mix the coffee grinds right into the soap. That was easier said than done. It took me close to another year to get the formula just right and now it always sells out fast.

Loading From The Tub, A Shave With Vanilla Tobacco Tallow

Today's shave is going to be from the tub. I haven't done one in a while but wanted to show that it is possible to use the tubs in order to load your brush. The soap I'll be using is the tallow version of Vanilla Tobacco which is one of my favorites. Whenever I make this soap it turns brown after sitting for a while and keeps turning darker as time goes on. It's the natural vanilla that does this to the soap.

The scent is a surprisingly smooth and sweet tobacco vanilla that's sure to be one of your favorites as well. People have told me they always get compliments from loved ones asking about what they are wearing. I also have customers ordering it for themselves and getting caught after stealing it from their husbands. 

Shaving, Talking & 3D Printers

Today I'm turning to Dirty Girl Jane for my shave, great scent, and performance. What I also have on my mind is the never-ending saga of 3D printing. Back in 2016 or so I started with my first one. Seven years later things have drastically changed. We now have consumer printers that create objects in a liquid plastic bath called a resin printer. Recently Bambu Labs introduced a new printer in its line called the P1S. Each one of these printers is pretty much the same but with options missing hence each one has a different price. The P1S is $700.00 currently it is in the middle of the three.I already have a 3D printer so how did I go from that to the P1S? The story continues.

Last month my trusty 3D printer the Artillery X1 failed. Just after running a print for 5 hr I went to start another and all hell broke loose. The X-Axis had just stopped working it did strange and weird things. So a quick look on the internet pointed me to try some things unfortunately the same issues persisted. I next started replacing the recommended parts regarding the X-axis Stepper Motor, Stepper Motor Driver, X-axis logic Board, and 30 Pin Ribbon Cable and nothing was working.
