Shaving & Talking #6 featuring The De Vergulde Hand

Shaving & Talking #6 featuring The De Vergulde Hand

Today Shaving and Talking is brought to you by
something that was giving to me by my Swedish friend Maximus. He sent this to me in 2016 after he tweeted about it and then he offered one to me asking for a review which I did. This is somewhat of a staple with the dutch you can buy it in locals stores for about 3 to 5 dollars. They have been in business for over 450 years so they might know a few things about making soaps.
This soap is a must-have if you ask me. The performance matching or surpassing just about anything I’ve tried in the past 10 years stands up to the best of them. It also has some of the best lather with the cleanest sent you’ll ever find. The slickness and glide are outstanding with a post-shave feel that is nothing close to perfection. This soap is truly underrated and needs more attention in the wet shaving community. My only regret is we have no aftershave I’m not sure you can buy one but if I could it would be one hell of an ending to a shave. As a companion to this article, we have our Youtube video, On the video, I bring up the Peacock series I’ve been watching called Dr. Death. This is a true story which if you are getting surgery soon I’m warning you now please avoid. This stars Christian Slater, Alec Baldwin, as the two doctors trying desperately to stop Christopher Daniel Duntsch a former neurosurgeon played by Joshua Jackson performing surgeries which he winds up killing 33 of his 40 patients across two years. Dr. Death is now serving a life sentence but that’s too good for him for what he’s done to his victims some never made it out of the OR others are paralyzed for life and will never walk again.
