A few months ago I did a review on the Flexi adjustable razor V2.0 and when that package arrived inside was a few unexpected surprises one of them being two shaving soaps from Pearl Man. Coffeeop which to me smells like chocolate and the other Shaver’s Spirit The Fresh beginning which is the focus of this review it has an amazing fresh clean scent.

This shaving soap comes in a 100g or 3.5oz plastic tub with a screw-on lid. A cartoon-like picture of a man with a mustache and the words the Artisan Shaving Soap. So I have a question, what's the name of the soap? Shaver’s Spirit or The Fresh Beginning or is it both?

This is a hard soap compared to some but not so hard you can’t apply it to a shaving bowl and that’s exactly what I did. I didn’t even have to bloom but if I did I know it would have helped.

Making a bowl lather was effortless I managed to whip up an impressive amount in such a short time. The scent had increased a little as well but not overpowering. Once I started to apply the lather it got right into the beard allowing for full coverage. The slickness and glide assured me I would have no issues with irritation even going over trouble spots. The post shave feel was also good

So, a surprise that turned out to be something good for a change and if you want to give this one a try it's not going to break the bank either. I still think the Coffeeop smells like chocolate.
