We are also using a soap from FairHope Shaving Soap Company called Him the scent is Key West. It's one of the best I've had the pleasure of using. Unfortunately, I looked at the website and they don't offer that scent anymore. Next, the brush I'm using today is the Frank Shave brush a short handle with a great backbone synthetic just an all-around great brush.
I loaded my brush from the soap container and found it very simple to do. This was due to how wide the mouth was on the tub. It took less than a minute and I was done. The lather was very creamy and allowed me to get right into the beard with great coverage. The slickness and glide were at the top tier and allowed me to go over trouble spots without fear of irritation. The post-shave feel was also superior.
I also used a post-shave tonic by OZ which is called Yellow Brick and man do I like that scent it went very well with the Key West Him shaving soap. The Yellow Brick post-shave tonic is a mix of vetiver, cedarwood, and bergamot. Sadly I'm not sure this person is still making shaving products. I looked at the Pastures Pharmacy website they are listed but no products are in stock.
All in all, this was a very satisfying shave and not once did I think of my Occam's razor, well, maybe a little.
That's all I have for this week.
As always, be kind to one another
