Shaving With De Vergulde Hand

Today I used the De Vergulde Hand shaving puck. If you never tried it, now's the time. It's an amazing shaving soap that has been around for over 450 years, and I'm not kidding. If a shaving soap has lasted that long and is still being sold today, do you think you deserve to try it?

I bloomed this puck in warm water for two minutes, then soaked up the bloom water with the brush and dumped the rest out of the bowl. This made for a very easy time lathering, and the lather went on thick and creamy. Plenty of slickness and glide for the razor, and the post-shave feel was fantastic.
