It was at the end of the day, and I needed to relax. I started setting up for the evening shave and came across my Vintage BayRum Generations. On the label, you can see a picture of many generations, all at the kitchen table. The father is passing down the traditions of wet shaving to his two children, just as his grandfather did years ago.
The aftershave of the same scent was applied, and I couldn't have been more relaxed.
Also in this video, I talk about replacing my trusted Plasma TV. In 2006, I purchased this TV when our old 35' Mitsubishi tube craped out. The plasma was a heavy beast, being 60 inches, I had to buy Audio and video furniture to hold everything. This lasted almost 20 years unit I started to see lines running down the picture in different places. It's been like that for about a year and a half until I could no longer take it.
Searching for a new TV was exhausting. I must have seen about 100 YouTube videos and read 50 articles, but I did come to the conclusion that the higher cost for the latest model was not worth the extra $1000.00, so I opted for last year's 2024 LG C4 OLED.
Over the past two decades, television technology has undergone significant advancements, and this particular television stands out as a remarkable example of this progress. When the installation team arrived, I inquired about the OLED technology and its durability. While they had initially expressed admiration for the Plasma technology and its longevity, they were surprised by its extended lifespan. However, they informed me that OLED televisions with moderate usage can typically last around 10 years. Given that I primarily work and spend most of my time away from home, I anticipate that this television will serve me well for many years to come.
