A person who propels and steers a gondola

It’s hard to tell how a fragrance will be from the name sometimes. That was the case for me with Gondolier. PAA took time in developing a soap that not only performs extremely well but “Oh My God” this stuff smells fantastic. This soap is now one of my favorites in my den.

Condolier comes in two sizes 8oz and 3.5oz; my experience is with the 3.5oz. This tin has no screw on lid but it does have the elastic strip that wraps around the outside to seal and keep the lid on tight. The opening of the tin is more than ample to lather with a brush.

When I opened the tin for the first time I immediately connected with the scent. I have never been to Italy before but if this is what Venice smells like then book me a flight. The notes are Rose, Jasmine Juniper and Cedar. Its scent is due to a sophisticated combination of essential oils. The scent strength is about a 6. This is based not right from the tin but right after I loaded my brush.

Gondolier produces a very rich and creamy lather better then others I’ve used. I noticed the soap needed more water than I usually use only because of how thick it loading on my brush. You only need to load a small amount to get this soap going. I notice a high level of slickness and glide during my entire shave this is one of the things I look for from my soaps.

I have to say this is a great soap one that I frequently use from my den. It’s a consistent performer and will not disappoint.
