Shaving With The Perfect Cup

If I had to pick one of the hardest soaps to make that I sell it would have to be The Perfect Cup. From the moment I thought about doing it I had no idea just how difficult this would be. Finding a way to substitute the water used in soap making for coffee took many trials and errors. I could have just used a scented coffee oil but every artisan was doing that so I wanted mine to be different I wanted it to be the real deal.

Getting to the point of making a product like this took months first I had to find the right coffee to use. South Down in Huntington was a little coffee shop that roasted its own beans. Southdown Coffee's story began in 2014 when Mark Boccard brought his passion for specialty coffee to cafes across Long Island, earning national recognition for expert-level coffee roasting at the 2019 US Coffee Roasters Championship and being mentioned in Food & Wine among the Best Coffee Shops in America. So I knew I was in the right place when I picked a bag of his SALVADOR GUZMAN – HONDURAS for our first coffee shaving soap.

Not only is this made with real coffee the grounds are mixed right into each batch with a little extra sprinkled on the top. When you open the lid for the first time you're going to be overwhelmed with the coffee aroma.

Making a lather is super easy you'll be surprised just how much lather this soap can produce with just a dime size amount. I have to say the soap is one of our best sellers from Wet The Face I think it's the 4th most ordered shaving soap we sell and that says a lot.

So in this video, I talk about some of the new products we are releasing soon like the last one in the series of the Shelby Shaving Co. or Peaky Blinders which will be Polly Gray. Next, we have a new series based on the Woman of WWII doing the dirty jobs of men called The Dirty Girls. A Test Pilot, Riveter, and Artillery Gunner.

I also mention. I was over at my nephew's home and he had an interesting item on his countertop. I asked him about it and he said it was an Air Frier and he uses it every day but it was $279.00 even though I was intrigued I just didn't want to spend that kind of money right now so I just kept looking and I finally for one that is a grill and an Air Frier from the same company on Amazon free shipping for $174.00 so I clicked buy. I might do a video on it in the future to let you know if it was worth the purchase.

That's all for now
as always be kind to one another
